The client came to us with an old, outdated oak kitchen and was ready for a complete transformation into something more modern and in keeping with their lifestyle. They were particularly drawn to a soft grey palette, wanting a cohesive, flowing design that felt calm and contemporary throughout the space. The brief centred around creating an open-plan layout that maximised light and usability, with plenty of room to relax, enjoy baking, and share coffee with family and friends. Matt also focused on maximising every inch of storage within the design, incorporating smart solutions including an angled corner larder unit to make the most of otherwise unused space. The hide and slide oven also worked perfectly within this layout, maintaining a sleek, streamlined look while enhancing practicality. A key part of the project was creating a welcoming seating area beside the log burner, making the kitchen not just a place to cook, but a warm and social heart of the home
